Matt is a country musician, based out of Northern Ohio - playing the best of country music!
Matt found his love for performing through sports in high school where he was a three sport athlete (baseball, basketball, football). Matt’s performance led him to be inducted into the Margaretta High School Athletic Hall of Fame in 2020. After high school he received a scholarship for baseball at the University of Toledo – Playing from 2007 to 2011 and currently holds the record for saves in a career as a Closer.
His interest in performing music began his senior year of high school when he was approached by the Leadership committee to audition for the Margaretta High School Talent Show. After much deliberation Matt decided to sing Kenny Chesney “Anything But Mine” with no background music - he went on to win the talent show and sparked his flame for music.
Matt picked up the guitar in 2015 and hasn’t stopped. His first show was July 21, 2018. In 2020 he finished as the runner-up in the Sandusky Register’s Readers Choice Awards for Best Local Band/Singer. He released his first single, Two Lane Road in 2021.
Matt’s inspiration is Eric Church, George Strait, Waylon Jennings, Cody Jinks, Jimmy Buffett, Tyler Childers, Jim Croce, Johnny Cash. Country and Mix of other genres, including Americana, Alternative Rock, Rock N’ Roll, and other past hits hitting the radio waves!
